These beautiful Mezcal Cups are crafted in the city of Puebla in ancient Talavera workshops. Talavera Pottery is distinguished by its colours and milky-white glaze. The wide of the cups is essential for the Mezcal aromas to flow freely. The cups are ideal for other beverages like tea or sake.

Onoracasa is the brainchild of creative duo Maggie Galton and Maria Eladia Hagerman. Both Galton, a New Yorker living in Mexico, and Hagerman, a Mexican living in Los Angeles share a vision and passion for the great cultural richness of Mexico. Their work spans over 15 years of collaboration with artisans creating handmade designs, textiles and home accessories. Striving for a balance between tradition and new trends, their collections reinterpret traditional designs, giving them a contemporary use, and aesthetics that reflect a style of cosmopolitan life that is both refined yet casual.

    Peek Bowl Black

Made from high-temperature ceramics, this whimsical bowl is inspired by the “Peek”, Mexico’s indigenous language Nahuatl’s name for “Xolozcuintle”, a native dog breed. Legend says that Peek used to be the human’s companion sent by pre-Hispanic Gods to help humans travel their long journey to “Mictlán”, the land of the dead. This whimsical creature will guard your snacks and prove to be a great addition to any dinner table. Based in Mexico City, Mecate Studio develops projects of various scales with a strong focus on providing solutions for daily life. The designs encourage interaction between users, engaging them with the surrounding world. Their passion is not to create objects, but to build environments and solve daily life necessities.

    Totem Container Set

A set consisting of four elegant ceramic containers, Totem stacks vertically to create multiple configurations. Liliana Ovalle’s design is accentuated in black and silver patterns on both inside and outside surfaces; as the tower blocks rise, the striped graphics correspond and divert adding a sense of distortion and classic elegance that will bring a sense of occasion to any coffee time, or dinner party. Based in London, young designer Liliana Ovalle has received many international prizes, including the British Council Talent Award in 2006, and the Mexican Clara Porset Special Award in 2008. Ovalle designs objects where the functional and the aesthetic components are accompanied by a reflection of contemporary life aspects. Her work pays particular attention to inquiring topics such as the “incomplete” and the “unrehearsed”, often observed in the urban context.
